I used to think they were fun, creative, a milestone in someone's dA activity and generally an exciting event. But a semi-popular artist once offered a kiriban for every 100 pageviews, thus boosting the number. And later they were, like "nah, don't feel motivated drawing anything to any of you, KTnxBye"
And this reminded me a couple of other times when I spent sleepless nights hitting "refresh" every 2 seconds, because I loved the art of those people A LOT, but they never kept their promise. Sad.
